Shalizar Restaurant

Shalizar restaurant was inspired by the mythical palace and is situated in an ancient stone building, aged 170 years, at Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem. The neighborhood is known for its prime location, in close proximity to the capital's consulates and elite hotels. From the very moment you enter the restaurant you will be greeted by legend-like luxury: stone walls surround pampering seating areas; colorful fabrics hang from the ceiling; chandeliers spread sparkling light and the floor is inlaid with spectacular decorations. 

 

At the center of attention is Shalizar's feast, with an abundance of authentic Arabic food. On the menu you can find plenty of fresh salads, amazing hummus made at the restaurant following a secret recipe that has been passed down from generation to generation for the past 100 years, and an assortment of delicious and succulent meat skewers. Friendly service completes the unforgettable experience of dining in your very own palace. Events at Shalizar can be held at the beautiful indoor space which can accommodate up to 180 guests or in the garden for up to 250 guests.
